The Stirk Medical Group is pleased to announce Dr Ewen McLean will be working at the Kalamunda Surgery from 3rd August 2022.
Ewen graduated from The University of Edinburgh Medical School in 2000 with MBChB, and an additional 1st Class Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology (top in his year). He continued his training in Perth at Princess Margaret Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital, then returned to Scotland where he was a principal in his own GP practice for seven years. Ewen gained membership of the Royal College of GPs with Distinction, and has extensive experience in mentoring and training General Practice Registrars.
Ewen returned to Australia in 2013 with his wife and 2 young children to work in the Kalamunda area, where he enjoys all aspects of family medicine; particularly chronic disease management including diabetes, heart disease, respiratory disease as well as travel medicine, men’s health and skin checks. He enjoys all aspects of outdoor life, especially mountain biking, running, and snow boarding.
